Next, we grade the area using an Excavator, Skid Steer, or both! Then it is on to laying down the foundation of your driveway or gravel pad, spreading, and final compaction of the gravel. We add a few finishing touches and your driveway is ready for your every day use!

Having access to your site is essential. You want access that is reliable and durable. Our decades of experience developing driveways in the soft, muddy soils of the Homer area have given us the knowledge and experience to build your road base to stand the test of time, while not wasting gravel or skimping on quality.

We typically begin by grubbing and clearing the area where your driveway or parking pad will be. Grubbing and clearing are the practices of removing all vegetation, stumps, woody debris, rocks, trash, soil types and/or other undesirable object - usually from both above and below the soil surface .This work is often performed using a heavy excavator. Depending on the final grading, drainage and slopes desired in your project area, soil may need to be moved around your site via a dozer. Soils or materials may also need to be trucked out of or onto your site.
